I called in order for a Keylime pie. I only had a few days before I had to pick it up. I heard very good things about their pies at this place and I wanted to check it out for an important birthday. I’m from the south side so it was a little bit far away. When I walked in the smell was absolutely amazing! This place is clean and the people that work there are so friendly!
This is Edmonton’s go to place for comfort food. The best soup,sandwiches and desserts. The buns are freshly made from the bakery next door. It’s always busy but you don’t have to wait too long for a table. Pretty outdoor patio in summer too. I’ve been coming here for years. It’s a great place to catch up with old friends and chat.
Beautiful cafe . The dining area is set up like a fancy hotel lounge. Beautiful patio outside . Is like 2 different world . Great desserts n down to earth staff . Is on a quiet neighborhood but If you need a getaway, sit outside the patio and read a book to pass the time
Absolutely loved my birthday lunch date with my friend today! The beef brisket bunwich was incredible, and the chocolate almost coconut mouse pie was decadent and delicious. I will be back!
It's a very beautiful place, if you live downtown then it's closer. They have some great desserts, and coffee. You can also enjoy some alcohol drinks, and ice cream. They staff is very nice and there's table service which is wonderful. The ambience is nice and their outdoor seating is private and not outside on the street which is perfect for privacy. Must try. :))
Heard about this place for a long time. Wanted to visit and support the place with all the construction going on next door, so came by for lunch. Chicken pot pie deliciously warmed the soul, and the coconut cream pie was great - not too sweet and great dessert to finish off with. Service was courteous, ambience was peaceful. Will be back for more pie!
It’s a great place to hang out, the ambience of the place was so relaxing, we were at the patio and we loved how we felt there. The staff were welcoming and felt like family. Initially we went there to really try the coconut cream pie, and it was so creamy and delicious. My husband and I loved it!
For our wedding we tried so many cakes that I won’t admit to how many bake shops we tried. Once we tried Vis we knew that they would make our cake. However, we made the mistake of trying 6+ cakes and couldn’t decide on only one and we couldn’t get over how good their pies were too. In the end after numerous visits and always getting a warm welcome despite how busy they were, we decided on 3 cakes (German chocolate, red velvet, carrot) and 2 pies (blueberry peach, chocolate almond coconut mouse) instead of a traditional wedding cake. Our guests could not get enough of the desserts and everyone wanted to know where they are from. Thank you Vis for making our special day so sweet 🙂
Always a fan of this place. Food was nice, hearty and comforting and the desserts were unbeatable.
